OBJECTIVE
The goal was to evolve the fragmented widget ecosystem into a unified, variable-driven system aligned with the new Fusion design language. I focused on creating a high-performance library that allowed product teams to build cohesive dashboards across Intuit's diverse product suites.
CHALLENGE
The existing UI was plagued by fragmented legacy systems across products like Customer HUB, Inventory, and Leads. I needed to move beyond disparate components and build a foundational system that ensured 100% visual alignment while supporting complex data-heavy environments.
The approach
The project architecture began with an audit of legacy UI to identify fragmentation before the suite was rebuilt using advanced Figma components and variables. Unlike static styles, multi-dimensional variables enabled seamless toggling of country-specific spellings, currencies, and screen types. This transition from "one-off" assets to a scalable, variable-driven system ensured a single source of truth across global regions and device specifications.
IMPACT
40% faster dashboard assembly time for product teams. Eliminated UI fragmentation and achieved 100% visual alignment across the entire project suite.
